The Bengals are back. Well, maybe that’s a stretch considering it’s just two wins in a row against some injury-ridden teams; but hey, Cincinnati will take wins however they come, especially in the AFC North.  

The Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Wildlife recently announced promising news for the state's wild turkey population, reporting a slight increase in the 2024 wild turkey poult index. With an average of 2.9 poults per hen, this marks the fourth consecutive year of above-average or slightly above-average brood surveys — a positive trend that highlights Ohio’s ongoing turkey population growth.

For the first time since Tre’Quez Parks on Sept. 23, 2019, the Wilmington College football team had a player named Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Defensive Player of the Week. The player who earned this honor for the first time in his career was sophomore linebacker Gavan Hunter.

The West Union varsity girls cross-country team placed first at the Southern Hills Athletic Conference meet with a score of 35.

The Whiteoak cross-country team competed in the Southeast District Division III races Saturday at the University of Rio Grande, where three individual runners advanced to regionals.
