Humphreys New Coordinator, Surgical Services and Post Anesthesia Care Unit

      Nina Humphreys, a registered nurse (RN), is the new coordinator for Surgery Center and post-anesthesia care unit (PACU). In this role Humphreys will apply her 32 years of experience directly supervising staff and coordinate education requirements.

CMH Foundation Auxiliary Board plans for 2010; new board and officers installed 
      The CMH Foundation Auxiliary opened the 2010 business year with its annual retreat for newly elected officers and board members on Wednesday, Jan. 13, at Damon’s Grill. Officers and board members used the retreat to wrap up 2009 and begin planning for special events for 2010 to benefit the patients of CMH Regional Health System, including Clinton Memorial Hospital and the Foster J. Boyd, MD, Regional Cancer Center.

Longtime Hillsboro businessman Homer Webster dies at 86
Hillsboro business icon Homer M. Webster passed away Monday, Jan. 25 at The Laurels.
He was 86. Mr. Webster owned and operated Webster Shoe Repair on South High Street in Hillsboro for many years.

Turner questions Treasury Secretary Geither on department's role in cutting Delphi salaried retirees' pensions
Congressman Michael Turner (R-Ohio-3) <http://turner.house.gov/&gt;  today announced he has submitted questions to Treasury Secretary Timothy Geither investigating the Treasury Department's involvement in the decision to cut Delphi salaried retirees' pension plans.Congressman Turner submitted the questions in advance of Secretary Geither's scheduled testimony on Wednesday, January 27 before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.
