Greenfield considers accepting health insurance for one month, seeking other options
The finance committee of the Greenfield City Council will recommend a 30-day acceptance of a proposed health insurance plan, a move council members say will buy them some time to seek alternatives.
 During a Greenfield City Council meeting held this week, it was reported that the city was facing a potential increase in its premiums of 44 percent.

Jen Walker, Curriculum Coordinator for the Athletic Training Program at Wilmington College, recently spoke to the Sports Rehabilitation and Therapy juniors about Athletic Training and why she chose the profession. Walker discussed all of the possibilities in Athletic Training, as well as, other healthcare professional routes that many students pursue after obtaining a bachelor’s degree and National Athletic Training Association Certification.
Garden club discusses holiday season
On Nov. 16, 2010, the Hillsboro Garden Club held their monthly meeting at the Katherine Zane Granger Floral Hall on the Highland County Fairgrounds.
