It was one of those nights, so to speak, for the McClain Lady Tigers Monday night at McClain High School. Unable to put together consistent offense in any of the four quarters, the Lady Tigers fell to the Lady Warriors, 47-18.

Charles Wesley Roler, 87, of East Danville, passed away Monday, Jan. 10, 2011 at his residence.

While the future for the city of Hillsboro may seem a difficult path, one candidate for the office of Hillsboro mayor says the future is simple: Bring pride back to Hillsboro.
 Terry Mikkelsen, a Republican, has taken out petitions to run for the office of Hillsboro mayor, and he said he will work on "removing the barrier between government and the community, making the label of Democrat and Republican irrelevant, (and) building up our community and bringing us back together as one - Hillsboro."
