Wilmington College recently announced the names of December graduates earning bachelor of arts, bachelor of science and master's in education degrees at the end of the 2010 fall semester.

On Wednesday, Feb. 9 at 6:30 p.m., Peebles High School will conduct a post-secondary option meeting for parents and students who wish to consider either post-secondary option education for the 2011-12 school year or dual credit classes as in-house post-secondary classes for 2011-12.

The Cincinnati Enquirer has reported that "DHL Express has agreed to pay an $80,000 fine to the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for violating its wastewater permit in 2007 and 2008 at its former hub in Wilmington."

The Lynchburg-Clay FFA Chapter participated in the Subdistrict Parliamentary Procedure Contest where they placed second. This allowed them to qualify to compete in the District Parliamentary Procedure Contest.

Joe G. Wright, 79, of Hillsboro died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2011 at his home.
