Martha Lou Walker, 68, of Greenfield, died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011 at Hearth and Care of Greenfield.

Edward McCown, 62, of West Union, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2011 at Brown County Hospital.

If you are fighting cabin fever, join the Greenfield Historical Society on Sunday, Feb. 6 for their second Sunday dinner at the Grain and Hay. The time is from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and the cost is only $10. The menu this month is Catalina chicken and scalloped potatoes, rolls, salad, a vegetable, dessert and drinks.

Senior Dylan Noll scored a game-high 21 points to lead the Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs to a 77-67 win over the North Adams  Green Devils. In a game highlighted by free throws, the Mustangs overcame a 10-point first half deficit to defeat North Adams for the second time this season.

This past weekend the Hillsboro split recent games, defeating the Washington Blue Lions, 62-55 for a Southern Hills League win Friday night but falling to the Goshen Warriors, 63-49 on Saturday.
