Heartland of Hillsboro will hold a celebration for 33-year employee Linda Carter (center), who is retiring on May 11.  Heartland will host a farewell party for Linda at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 11 to thank her for her 33 years of service.
Armed robbery case bound over to grand jury
The case against Hillsboro man arrested in connection with an alleged armed robbery at Larry's Party Shop has been bound over for consideration by a grand jury in Highland County Common Pleas Court.

Plan ahead for CAMP for young people
C.A.M.P. will present its 56th annual camping program for young people the week of Aug. 7-13. Again , it will be held at the Resident Camping area at Tar Hollow State Park. This camp comes highly recommended by the likes of "Parents' Magazine" several previous Ohio Governors and a former  President of the United States.  


Memorial Day services in Mowrystown on May 30

The annual Memorial Day Services will be held in the village of Mowrystown on Monday, May 30. 

The parade will begin at 1 p.m. at Whiteoak High School, and services at the Mowrystown Cemetery will begin at 1:30 p.m.
