As the Highland County Board of Developmental Disabilities continues to keep a watchful eye on its 2012 budget, a recent report states that staff are looking for ways to rein in expenses while increasing revenue opportunities.

    During the board's monthly meeting on Tuesday, board business director Lori Moore submitted quarterly a report and review of expenditures. The report gave comparisons of 2011 and 2012 expenditures, along with 2011 and 2012 income.

CONWAY, Arkansas - A Hillsboro man arrested for his alleged involvement in an Arkansas bank robbery has pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 20 years in prison.

Under the procedure for a citizen-initiated constitutional amendment, petitioners are required to collect 385,253 signatures, which is equal to 10 percent of the total vote cast for governor in 2010.

The Ohio Ethics Commission has extended the due date for Financial Disclosure forms. The Commission extended the deadline from April 15 to April 17 this year to be consistent with 2012 IRS requirements. The Commission reminds public officials and employees that the forms must be received or postmarked by that date.
