Going on the road to play in their Division VI SE District Quarterfinal game, the No. 12 seeded Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs played close with the Portsmouth West Senators for all four quarters, but came up just short on the scoreboard, falling by a 52-48 score Friday at PWHS. 

The Lynchburg-Clay boys bowling team finished first in the Southern Hills Athletic Conference this season with a record of 10-0.

Earlier in February, the Lynchburg-Clay boys and girls bowling teams were crowned champions of the Southern Hills Athletic Conference.

Friday night the Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs won their regular-season finale by defeating the visiting Blanchester Wildcats, 73-49.

Playing the season with only one senior and a young basketball team, the Lynchburg-Clay Lady Mustangs played varsity basketball in what can be described as a season of learning.
