A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 2 until 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 3 for Highland County. In addition, a hazardous weather advisory is possible for Feb. 4-5.
Today's forecast calls for a chance of snow and freezing rain before 3 p.m., then snow likely, with a high near 36. Snow is likely Sunday night and early Monday morning, with a low around 23. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible, the National Weather Service said.
