Highland County is under a Hazardous Weather Advisory Jan. 25-26, as are Adams and Brown counties.

Clinton County is under a Winter Weather Advisory for the same period, the National Weather Service said.

Highland County's forecast calls for rain Sunday, changing to snow late Sunday and early Monday, with 1-2 inches of accumulation by 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 26.

Clinton County may receive up to three inches of snow. Central Ohio counties are expecting 3-5 inches of snow.

The storm system is part of a fast-moving Alberta clipper that is moving southeast from Canada across the northern Plains and the Midwest into central Ohio.

Wednesday – Mostly sunny, with a high near 34.

Thursday – Rain and snow showers likely. Cloudy, with a high near 43. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Thursday Night – A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 28. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Friday – Partly sunny, with a high near 33.

Friday Night – Mostly cloudy, with a low around 20.

Saturday – Mostly cloudy, with a high near 34.
