Veterans Services outreach, open house May 10

The Highland County Veterans' Services office will hold an open house and veterans outreach from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on Thursday, May 10 at 135 N. High St., in uptown Hillsboro.

Highland County Veterans Service Commission Executive Director Robin Brown invites all veterans to stop by and see what services the office can provide.

In addition, the VA Mobile Center will be at the local office for veterans on May 10.

The Highland County Veterans' Services office also will be distributing more than 4,000 flags and 400 grave markers for county cemeteries prior to Memorial Day.
