This Veterans Day marks the one-year anniversary of the USO's Every Moment Counts campaign.
Over the past year, nearly 11 million special moments were created for our troops and their families across the world as part of the USO's national initiative to rally Americans to show their gratitude for those everyday moments that our troops and their families miss by serving our country.
To celebrate this milestone, the USO invites the American people to create, share and support moments that matter for our troops on 11/11 and join the USO as we set out to deliver another 11 million moments worldwide in 2015.
Locally, over the past year USO of Central & Southern Ohio has created over 58,000 Moments for our servicemen and women and their families.

These include those who visit one of our airport lounges in Columbus, Dayton and Cincinnati and the 300 children of deployed parents who took part in the Hero camp at Kelley's Island and the many other service and programs supported by your local USO of Central & Southern Ohio.
With the continued support of our donors and partners, we expect to create even more special moments for those who serve the cause of freedom.
A nonprofit, congressionally chartered, private organization, the USO relies on the generosity of individuals, organizations and corporations to support its activities. The USO is not part of the U.S. government, but is recognized by the Department of Defense, Congress and President of the United States, who serves as Honorary Chairman of the USO.
