Vascular Surgeon Dr. Brian Santin credentialed in Vascular Interpretation

WILMINGTON – Dr. Brian J. Santin, a vascular surgeon with Ohio Vein & Vascular in Wilmington, was recently recognized with a new credential-Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI).
This certifies that Dr. Santin has satisfied the prerequisites relating to education and clinical experience of vascular ultrasound interpretation and has successfully completed the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certifying examination.

With this new certification, Dr Santin will be able to assist Clinton Memorial Hospital in seeking additional accreditations in noninvasive vascular procedures.
CMH already has the capabilities to perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations to diagnose and screen for vascular disease of the arteries and veins.
"This certification is just one more piece of the puzzle that we needed to achieve in Wilmington to provide high quality vascular surgical care to patients,” Dr. Santin said.
Dr. Santin further endorsed this recent milestone achievement by adding, "We will utilize this level of additional care here to continue to build a solid foundation for a comprehensive vascular surgical care center for SW Ohio.”
