UPDATED: U.S. 62 reopened following crash

Although cleanup efforts continue, U.S. 62 in Highland County is now open following an accident earlier today.

ODOT crews remain on the scene, maintaining traffic with flaggers. It is anticipated that the scene will be fully cleared by 2 p.m. 

On Thursday morning, U.S. 62 in Highland County was closed at Sanders Road, just north of S.R. 321, due to an accident involving an overturned semi-tractor trailer.
