State Troopers Association joins FOP in endorsing David Pepper

The Ohio State Troopers Association has joined the Fraternal Order of Police of Ohio in announcing its endorsement of David Pepper in the race for Ohio Attorney General.

The Ohio State Troopers Association represents troopers, sergeants, dispatchers, radio operators, electronic technicians and communications technicians across Ohio.

“I’m proud that those who are on the front lines of public safety continue to support my campaign, and I’m honored to receive OSTA’s endorsement," Pepper said.

"As Attorney General, I look forward to working with state troopers to keep Ohioans safe.”

This is Pepper’s second major endorsement by an Ohio law enforcement association during the 2014 campaign and demonstrates the campaign’s continued momentum.

On July 29, Pepper was endorsed by the Fraternal Order of Police of Ohio, the first time the FOP endorsed a challenger to a sitting attorney general in decades.

 

[[In-content Ad]]Pepper was previously endorsed by the Ohio Association of Professional Fire Fighters.

In the most recent campaign finance reports filed August 5, Pepper had again outraised incumbent Mike DeWine, according to this news release from the Pepper campaign.
