SSCC honors Stevetta Grooms

Southern State Community College executive assistant to the president Stevetta Grooms was honored at the Wednesday, Nov. 14 Board of Trustees' meeting for her many years of exemplary service to the college.

Stevetta has announced her plans to retire at the end of this year, after working in the college administration through the tenures of four presidents.

Past and present board members expressed their appreciation for Stevetta following the regularly scheduled board meeting.

SSCC President Dr. Kevin Boys and former President Dr. Larry Dukes also thanked Stevetta for her service.
