Spring cleanup at Scott House

Volunteers conducted a spring cleanup at the Scott House Saturday. Volunteers planted, mulched, repaired brick, and stained the front door to spruce it up for spring.

Those helping included: Mark Irving, Jesse Mullins, Jill Yochum, Maggie and Tom Horst, Bronwyn Jones, Mary Todd Hardeman and Helen Ford. Not pictured: Cyria Peterson and Bob Lambert.

The Scott House was transferred from Hillsboro City Schools to the Highland County Historical Society after pass-throughs from the county commissioners and the Highland  County Community Improvement Corporation in December 2012.
