Approximately 180 guests attended "An Evening with Frank Sinatra and Marilyn Monroe at Highland County Senior Citizens Center" on July 19.

Matt Snow, the Cincinnati Sinatra, is the longest running Frank Sinatra tribute show in the U.S. He has performed his Sinatra-style character every month since June 1971. As described from GigMasters, a professional talent booking agency, Matt has a voice that is “eerily similar to the Chairman of the Board himself.”

Matt entertained the Senior Center crowd by performing many of the more than 300 Sinatra songs in his repertoire. He is the 2013 winner of the GigMasters' "Rising Star Award and was awarded "Best of 2012" and "2013" for excellent reviews.

Patti Warner, who has been portraying Marilyn Monroe for many years all around the country, also performed a few of Monroe's songs.

More than $2,500 was raised for the Senior Center Saturday evening.

"I would like to thank our sponsors and cosponsors – sponsors, Merchants National Bank, Weastec, Hearth & Care Rehabilitation and Nursing; co-sponsor, Harsha Monument Company – and those who donated for door prizes and our staff and our volunteers," said Mechell Frost, executive director of the Highland County Senior Citizens Center.

"The evening was a success because everyone worked hard for the center and Matt Snow and Patty Warner are wonderful entertainers," Frost said. "Thanks also to our volunteers, community, board members, members of the center and Mission Possible Youth Groups."
