Retired Chillicothe police officer sentenced to two years

A retired Ross County law enforcement officer has been sentenced to two years in prison and classified as a Tier II sex offender.

According to The Columbus Dispatch (www.dispatch.com), Richard Eric Mckee, 49, was sentenced in Ross County Common Pleas for his relationship with a 15-year-old girl.

The retired Chillicothe police officer will spend two years in prison for having a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl.

McKee served on the Chillicothe police force from 1986 until he retired last March, the Dispatch said.
