Penn Township (Samantha) School enjoys 61st reunion

The 61st Penn Township (Samantha School Reunion was held Sept. 21 at the Samantha Friends Church with a carry-in dinner at 1 p.m.

Those attending were: Rosaline Engle of Leesburg. Teacher at Penn School; Sarah (Chaney) Bales of Leesburg; Tony and Connie Cannon of Leesburg; Marjorie (Douglas) Pierce of Hillsboro; Garnet (Holt)Wilkin of Hillsboro; Larry and Linda (Ashley) Lucas of Athens; Richard and Norma (Gray) Edwards of Leesburg; Marcia (Meddock) Brownlee of Dayton; Merlin Meddock of Sabina; Bob and Carol (Patton) Dunlap of Leesburg; Jane (Teeters Helterbrand of Washington C.H.; Lulubelle (Snider) Teeters of Leesburg; Bennie Teeters of Hillsboro; Jeanette (Fenner) Knauff of Hillsboro; Geneva and Margeret Burns of Hillsboro; Tom and Kathy Caldwell of Hillsboro; Sheila (Caldwell) Parshall of Leesburg.

The next reunion will be Sept. 20 at the Samantha Friends Church.
