Pat Brinkman, William Blaney recognized for service

The Paint Valley Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services (ADAMH) Board met Wednesday, June 19 for their regularly scheduled meeting.
Retiring board members Pat Brinkman and William Blaney were recognized for their service to the Paint Valley ADAMH Board.
While serving two terms on the board Pat Brinkman has held the office of Vice Chairperson and has been the Board Chairperson since 2011.
Pat was appointed to the board in 2005 by the Fayette County Commissioners. She is the Director of The Ohio State University Extension in Fayette County and resides in Washington C.H.
William Blaney also served two terms as a member of the Paint Valley ADAMH Board. He was appointed to the board in 2005 by the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services.
William is retired from the Ohio Department of Corrections and resides in Chillicothe.
Pat and William each received a medicine safe like the ones that will be available from the Paint Valley ADAMH Board during the new Lock Your Meds Campaign.
Executive Director Juni Johnson Frey commented, “Pat is a true advocate for those with a mental illness and her leadership will be missed. Bill has proven his commitment to helping the clients we serve.”
The board also announced that Judy Dixon of Pike County will be the new Paint Valley ADAMH Board Chairperson.
