OSHP’s Wilmington Post investigating two-vehicle fatal crash

The Wilmington Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a two-vehicle fatal crash. The crash occurred May 14 at approximately 12:40 p.m. on state Route 73 near mile post 14, Union Township, Clinton County.

The preliminary investigating revealed a 2001 Toyota Corolla operated by Devon Lansing, 33 of Wilmington, was traveling southbound on state Route 73. A 2014 Mack truck operated by Roderic Morman, 25, of Cincinnati, was traveling northbound on state Route 73. Mr. Lansing allegedly drove left of center and struck the vehicle operated by Mr. Morman.

Mr. Lansing was pronounced deceased at the scene by EMS. Mr. Morman was not injured.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Wilmington Fire and EMS and the Ohio Department of Transportation.

This crash remains under investigation by the Wilmington Post.
