The OhioMeansJobs Pike County Career Center (OMJ) at the Community Action Committee of Pike County (CAC) is excited to announce an upcoming Open Interview Event in partnership with Austin Powder. 

The event will take place on Friday, February 14 from 10a to 2p at the OMJ Career Center, located at 941 Market Street, Piketon.

This event offers job seekers a unique opportunity to explore competitive career options with one of the most established companies in the explosives industry. Applicants are encouraged to schedule an appointment for an interview with the staff of the OhioMeansJobs Career Center to secure a time to meet with the Austin Powder Recruiting Specialist. 

Walk-Ins will be allowed based on open availability.

Austin Powder, a global leader in explosives manufacturing and blasting solutions since 1833, is actively seeking qualified individuals to fill over-the-road truck driver and team-driving positions at their facility located in McArthur. These positions require candidates to hold a valid Class A CDL license. HAZ-MAT is preferred but not required (assistance will be provided to acquire later). Applicants must be 21-years or older and able to pass an ATF Background Check.

Position Overview

As an over-the-road truck driver and team-driver for Austin Powder, team members will play a critical role in safely transporting materials to various locations while maintaining high safety and operational standards. The role offers:
