Ohio State Highway Patrol releases OVI checkpoint results from the City of Norwood

The Ohio State Highway Patrol, with assistance from the Norwood Police Department, the Hamilton County OVI Task Force and the Ohio Department of Transportation, conducted an OVI checkpoint June 7 from 9-11 p.m. on Montgomery Road, in the City of Norwood, in Hamilton County.  

A total of 510 vehicles were checked, with three vehicles being diverted for suspicion of OVI. No drivers were determined to be under the influence or arrested for OVI.    

In addition to the actual checkpoint officers, additional officers from participating agencies conducted saturation patrols in the area until 6 a.m.

Federal grant money supported the OVI checkpoint and saturation patrols.
