Ohio State Bar Foundation welcomes new class of fellows
The Ohio State Bar Foundation (OSBF) is proud to announce the induction of 13 outstanding attorneys into its 2025-2026 Fellows Class, the Foundation’s highest honor for legal professionals committed to service and the public good. Chief Justice Sharon L. Kennedy formally inducted the new class during a ceremony at the Supreme Court of Ohio on June 24.
This year’s Fellows represent a broad range of legal sectors across the state—including private practice, public defense, the judiciary, government, academia, and community advocacy. Each honoree has demonstrated a deep commitment to advancing access to justice and strengthening the communities they serve.
As the professional honorary of Ohio lawyers, the OSBF invites a new class of Fellows each year— attorneys who exemplify the highest standards of professionalism and civic responsibility. Since the program’s launch in 1998, more than 1,000 Fellows have been inducted into this distinguished network of servant-leaders.
“We are proud to welcome these 15 outstanding attorneys into the OSBF Fellows Program,” said Laurie Beth Sweeney, Executive Director of the Ohio State Bar Foundation. “This class includes public defenders, judges, educators, civic leaders, and advocates who are improving lives in every corner of Ohio—from expanding access to justice in rural courts to mentoring the next generation of lawyers and championing equity in their communities. Their dedication to public service is exactly what the Fellows Program is all about. We’re excited to see how their passion, talent, and leadership will help move our mission forward.”
