Northern Ohio still has a slim chance for a white Christmas, but accumulating snow may not arrive until Wednesday.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter-storm watch for Wednesday in northwest Ohio counties west of I-75.

Meanwhile, in southern Ohio, a wintry mix is in the forecast for Christmas night and Wednesday, the National Weather Service said.

After Monday's rain moves through, Christmas Day will be partly sunny, with a high near 40.

On Tuesday night, look for a mix of rain and snow late, and a low around 32. The chance of precipitation is 80 percent.

Rain changes to snow early Wednesday with little accumulation. Freezing rain is possible early Wednesday. The high will be in the upper 30s.

Snow flurries are likely again Wednesday night, with a low around 24.
