National Nursing Assistants' Week June 13-20

The Highland County Board of Commissioners proclaimed the week of June 13-20 as National Nursing Assistants' Week in Highland County.

This year marks the 36th annual National Nursing Assistants’ Week.

Highland District Hospital nursing professionals Cindy Brummett, Hazel Smith and Joann Howard were in attendance at the Wednesday, June 12 commissioners' meeting for the proclamation, which was signed by commissioners Shane Wilkin, Tom Horst and Jeremy Shaffer.
