Lauren Grimes among 2014 Ohio Beef Expo Junior Show Champions

The Ohio Cattlemen’s Association (OCA) Junior Show was held Sunday, March 16 during the 2014 Ohio Beef Expo at the Ohio Exposition Center, Columbus.
The annual show spotlighted 692 steers and heifers.
Lauren Grimes of Highland County won the Champion Angus and Reserve Champion Champion Angus.
Randy Perry of Prather, Calif. evaluated the breeding heifers, while Jack Ward of Plattsburg, Mo. assessed the market animals.

The OCA is an affiliate of the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association and is the state’s spokesperson and issues manager for all segments of the beef cattle industry including cattle breeders, producers and feeders. It is the grass roots policy development organization for the beef business. Through the OCA, cattle producers work to create a positive business environment, while providing consumers with a safe and wholesome product.
