LaRose signs Americans for Tax Reform's Taxpayer Protection Pledge

Ohio Secretary of State and U.S. Senate candidate Frank LaRose announced that he has signed the Americans for Tax Reform's Taxpayer Protection Pledge, committing to oppose any and all efforts to increase taxes for hardworking American individuals and entrepreneurs.

"Senator Sherrod Brown and President Joe Biden continue to cripple Ohio families with tax theft and skyrocketing cost of living," said Frank LaRose. "I'm the only one in this race with a consistent record of cutting, and never raising taxes, and that's the common-sense leadership I'll bring to the U.S. Senate."

“I strongly applaud Frank LaRose for taking a principled stand and signing the Taxpayer Protection Pledge. He has exhibited a true dedication to fiscal responsibility and pro-growth tax policy by making this commitment. This Pledge is a powerful symbol of his unwavering support for hardworking taxpayers and their right to keep more of their hard-earned money,” said ATR President Grover Norquist.

“With LaRose’s Pledge, we can trust that he will champion pro-growth policies, protect our economic freedom, and resist any attempts to burden Americans with even higher taxes.”

As a state senator, LaRose did the hard work to balance Ohio’s budget – every time. When he first went to the state senate, he voted to cut spending by $8 billion. Frank also helped launch a new initiative to expose government waste and bust up job-killing bureaucracy. During his tenure, he streamlined state government and demanded efficiencies that allowed for nearly $6 billion in tax cuts. Today, the tax cuts he helped enact have saved Ohioans nearly $12 billion over the past decade.
