HPD investigates series of thefts on city's north side

The Hillsboro Police Department is investigating reports of thefts at four businesses located on the city's north side.

On Monday, Oct. 15, the department investigated a reported theft at a restaurant on North High Street, after an employee arrived to work and found a side door unlocked and the safe missing.

Two businesses in the 1400 block of North High Street reported on Monday that air conditioning units had been stolen.

Anyone with information on these incidents may call the HPD at 393-3411.

Also, Monday, two women were arrested after a reported theft at a Harry Sauner Road business.

Erica Curnutte, 23, of Washington C.H. and Brittany Wolgamott, 20, of Leesburg were arrested for theft after allegedly leaving the store with concealed merchandise.
