Hillsboro Police Report

On May 29 at 3:22 p.m., the Hillsboro Police Department responded to a motor vehicle crash on North High Street at Somers Street. Upon the officers' arrival, it was found that Ryan A. Scott was sitting stationary, southbound in traffic, in a 2008 Chevrolet truck, when Tyler P. Cloud of Lynchburg failed to observe traffic stopped, causing his vehicle to strike the rear of Scott's vehicle. Scott's vehicle sustained non-functional damage, while Cloud's vehicle sustained disabling damage. Cloud was issued a citation for ACDA.
