On Monday, Oct. 29, the Hillsboro Police Department received a call from Tissot's Home Center on North Elm St. in Hillsboro. It was reported that an unknown person(s) had broken into the business over the weekend. This incident is still under investigation.

At 12:58 p.m., the Hillsboro Police Department received a call from Walmart in Hillsboro. They advised a male and female exited the store with two televisions without paying for them. This incident is still under investigation.

At 5:28 p.m., the Hillsboro Police Department received a call from Walmart in Hillsboro. It was advised a male was in the store attempting to return items which had been stolen earlier. Upon officer investigation, Joshua A. McKenzie, 23, of Hillsboro was arrested for theft, obstructing and resisting arrest. Aaron L. McKenzie, 21, of Hillsboro was arrested for theft, obstructing and two bench warrants.

At 7:13 p.m., the Hillsboro Police Department received a call from Shoe Show in Hillsboro reporting a female took shoes and left the store without paying for them. After investigation, Megan K. Cook, 26, of Leesburg was arrested for theft.
