Hillsboro Police Report

On Friday, Oct. 12 at 11:56 p.m., an officer with the Hillsboro Police Department was on patrol and located a vehicle that had crashed on Danville Pike. During the investigation, it was found that Joseph A. Hollon ran off the roadway and struck a rock wall. The passenger in the vehicle was transported to Highland District Hospital by Hillsboro EMS. Hollon has been charged with felony OVI, driving under suspension and failure to maintain control. The case will be reviewed by the prosecutor for the possibility of further charges.

On Sunday, Oct. 14 at 5:29 p.m., the police department received a call from the 100 block of Homestead Ave. in reference to an assault. During the investigation, it was found that Christy White had punched a male subject in the face while both were standing outside. White was charged with assault.

Joseph Hollon, 38, OVI, refusal of test, driving under suspension, failure to stop for a stop sign and failure to maintain control.

Johnny Howard, 41, trespassing.

Loretta Wilkin, 45, bench warrant.
