Hillsboro man arrested in Montana

A Hillsboro man has been arrested in Montana after allegations of an attempted robbery at a Dairy Queen in Billings.

According to www.ktvq.com, quoting Sergeant Scott Conrad, "Eddie Everhart, of Hillsboro, Ohio, entered the Dairy Queen at 3220 Henesta Drive at 5 p.m. on Sunday and displayed a black handgun to the employee at the cash register who fled from the man through the back of the store.

"Conrad says Everhart then left the store without any money."

A few minutes later, Everhart reportedly walked in to another Billings business and demanded money from an employee.

The police say the employee complied with Everhart's demands and he left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Five minutes later, Everhart allegedly entered and robbed a pizzeria.

Everhart was apprehended by three officers without incident, www.ktvq.com reported.
