The public is invited to attend the fifth annual Highland County Veterans Honor Guard Flag Retirement Ceremony to be held at the AmVets Post 61 Pavilion, 11541 North Shore Drive, on Flag Day, Thursday, June 14 at 6 p.m.

Worn and tattered United States flags may be dropped off at the Senior Citizen Center, VFW Post 9094 and the AmVets Post 61.

The ceremony is held in even years at the AmVets and in odd years at the VFW.

Refreshments will be served by members of the NSDAR Waw-wil-a-way Chapter, JAC and C.A.R.
