Highland County Sheriff's Report

Dec. 22

A resident of the 10000 block of state Route 771 reported a vehicle vandalized. Charges are currently pending for a Leesburg male.

Adams County Sheriff’s Office requested the use of a K9 while investigating a theft in progress. K9 Code and handler responded to an address on Louisville Road in Bratton Twp., where a track was started for the suspect. A short time later, Adams County advised the suspect was taken into custody nearby.

A resident of the 300 block of Sycamore St., Lynchburg reported telecommunications harassment. This incident remains under investigation.

Chase Williamson, 27, of Hillsboro, probation violation.

Dustin J. Schwalbaugh, 35, of Washington C.H., contempt of court.
