Highland County Junior Fair horse exhibitors qualify for Ohio State Fair
In order to participate in the Junior Fair horse shows at the state level, exhibitors must first qualify at the county level. Highland County held a Performance Against Standards (PAS) horse show on Saturday, July 10 at the fairgrounds for Jr. 
Fair horse exhibitors who wanted to qualify for the state fair contests. Contestants were required to meet a certain score in at
least two riding categories in order to qualify to show at the Ohio State
Fair on July 26-30. The following 4-H members met the requirements and will represent Highland County 4-H at the state fair (l-r): Abby Cornele, Megan Thompson, Danielle Marler, and Kurstin Wilkin. Not pictured: Haleigh Lovett.
