Highland County Community Action golf outing tees off Aug. 27

The eighth annual Highland County Community Action Organization, Inc. Golf Outing is coming up on Wednesday, Aug. 27 (rain date, Sept. 10).

The 1 p.m. shotgun start kicks off a day of great golf, meeting potential business partners and supporting Community Action.

Community Action is just beginning to take reservations for event, teams, hole and prize sponsors.

"Those who participate will have the satisfaction of helping the organization because the proceeds from this tournament will help support the programs we provide to serve those in Highland County," said Julia Wise, executive director of HCCAO.
