Guy Hopkins named principal at Southern Hills Career Technical Center

Mr. Guy Hopkins has been named as principal at Southern Hills Career Technical Center.

He is no stranger to Southern Hills, having served as interim principal since January 1 of this year following the retirement of Tim Chadwell.

Mr. Hopkins holds both a B.S. in education and a master's in education administration from the University of Cincinnati, as well as post-graduate work from Miami, Wright State, and Xavier universities.

Mr. Hopkins began his career in education as a math teacher in the Mount Healthy City School District and has served as principal at Felicity-Franklin High School in Clermont County and Blanchester High School in Clinton/Warren counties. He also brings experience in career tech education through his work in administration at the Great Oaks Institute of Technology.
