Greenfield woman sentenced to 2 years for meth trafficking
A Greenfield woman indicted in connection with a Highland County Task Force investigation earlier this year was sentenced to prison recently for meth trafficking.
Tabitha Throckmorton, 30, was indicted by a Highland County grand jury and charged with one count each of aggravated trafficking in methamphetamine and aggravated possession of methamphetamine, both third-degree felonies. Hers was one of 12 indictments that was sealed, or kept secret, in February as part of various Highland County Task Force investigations.
According to court records, Throckmorton was arrested May 13, at which point her indictment became public.
Throckmorton pleaded guilty June 25 to the trafficking charge, with the possession count dismissed. For the trafficking charge, it is alleged that on or about Aug. 19, 2024, Throckmorton “did knowingly sell or offer to sell meth” in an amount equal to or exceeding bulk amount but less than five times bulk amount.
Highland County Common Pleas Court Judge Rocky Coss sentenced Throckmorton to 24 months in prison, with jail time credit of 43 days. She was additionally ordered to pay $120 in restitution to the Task Force.
