Greenfield native re-elected in Kentucky District Judge race

Greenfield native Stephanie Pearce Burke has unofficially been re-elected in the Kentucky District Judge, 30th Judicial District, Division 14 race, according to a report by the Louisville Courier-Journal.
With 549 of 641 precincts reporting, Burke was projected to win, totaling 66 percent (88,583 votes) to Andre Bergeron's 34 percent (46,175 votes), said the Courier-Journal.

Burke was first elected as district judge in 2010.
Earlier this year, the Courier-Journal endorsed Burke for the second time.
A 1987 graduate of McClain High School, Burke is the daughter of Steve and Charlene Pearce. She is married to Dennis C. Burke, also an attorney, with whom she has two sons, Aiden and Carey, and a stepdaughter, Maria.
