A Greenfield man charged as part of the Highland County Task Force’s “Operation Fetty Stop” drug investigation was sentenced to community control Wednesday.

Jonathan Meadows, 35, was indicted in September on charges of aggravated trafficking in methamphetamine, a fourth-degree felony, and aggravated possession of methamphetamine, a fifth-degree felony.

He pleaded guilty to the trafficking charge in October, as the possession charge was dismissed.

According to a bill of particulars, Meadows sold meth to a confidential informant in December 2022 in Greenfield.

Highland County Common Pleas Court Judge Rocky Coss sentenced Meadows to three years of community control Nov. 8. Coss also ordered Meadows to pay $25 in restitution.

The charges came as part of “Operation Fetty Stop,” which is the ongoing work of the Highland County Task Force and all county law enforcement agencies to stop the trafficking and use of fentanyl in Highland County. The charges and arrests in September were focused in Madison Township, the Village of Greenfield and the Rocky Fork Lake area.
