Greenfield area crash under investigation

GREENFIELD – Emergency crews were called to the scene of an early morning vehicle crash on S.R. 41 just north of Greenfield on Monday morning.

At approximately 1:45 a.m., a car lost control and flipped on its top, ending up off the roadway in the ditch, in the 10000 block of Route 41 near the old End Zone bar.

The occupants exited the vehicle on their own and did not claim any injuries.

The cause of the accident was not immediately reported.

The Fayette County Sheriff's Office is investigating.

Responding to the scene with the sheriff's office was Wayne Township Fire and Fayette County EMS. A Greenfield Police cruiser was also on scene.
