Katy Unger, a 2014 graduate of McClain High School, presented her winning speech from the Greenfield Rotary Club Four-Way Test public speaking competition on Saturday afternoon at the 2014 Greene Countrie Towne Festival.

Unger was this year's local winner and also participated in the Rotary District 6670 contest at Wright State University.

Unger told the Greenfield crowd about "overcoming life's hurdles to be all you can be," as she has coped with dyslexia. Throughout high school, she excelled academically, played varsity sports and participated in many extracurricular activities.

"She is wise beyond her years," festival emcee and Greenfield Rotarian Pat Hays said after her speech.
