Governor DeWine signs bills into law
Ohio Governor Mike DeWine signed the following bills into law:
Senate Bill 223, sponsored by State Senator Thomas F. Patton (R-Strongsville), to require the ODNR Chief of the Division of Parks and Watercraft to establish a discount program for veterans and service members for park services and rentals.
House Bill 31, sponsored by State Representative Latyna M. Humphrey (D-Columbus) and State Representative Brian Stewart (R-Ashville), to require electronic recordings to be made of certain parole board hearings, to make electronic recordings of full parole board hearings public records, and to provide the prosecuting attorney access to Department of Rehabilitation and Correction health care records for certain parole and judicial release cases.
House Bill 311, sponsored by State Representative Erika White (D-Springfield Township) and State Representative James M. Hoops (R-Napoleon), to designate the third full week of May as "EMS week in Ohio."
