Governor DeWine signs bills into law
Ohio Governor Mike DeWine signed the following bills into law:
Senate Bill 137, sponsored by State Senator Terry Johnson (R-McDermott), to require hospitals to provide overdose reversal drugs under certain circumstances.
Senate Bill 18, sponsored by State Senator Michele Reynolds (R-Canal Winchester) and State Senator Hearcel F. Craig (D-Columbus), to designate February 14 as "Cardiovascular Health Awareness Day."
House Bill 227, sponsored by State Representative Monica Robb Blasdel (R-New Waterford) and State Representative Mark Johnson (R-Chillicothe), to modify excavation requirements.
House Bill 52, sponsored by State Representative Kellie Deeter (R-Norwalk), to revise the law governing the practice of certified registered nurse anesthetists.
