Turner & Son Funeral Home is sponsoring a free advance planning seminar providing information on wills, trusts, health care directives, powers of attorney, Medicaid rules and final expenses.

The workshop will be held at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Oct. 18 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home, 602 N. High Street. Refreshments will be served, and speakers will be available to answer questions after the program.

The seminar will feature Ashley Shannon, Attorney at Law with Beckman, Weil, & Shepardson LLC. Ashley will discuss important legal documents to help protect your family.

She will also discuss the Medicaid qualification rules and recent changes to the federal guidelines. Pam Ulery, a Funeral Prearrangement Specialist with over 15 years of experience, will discuss the benefits of advance funeral planning and how to get started.

Adults of all ages are welcome to attend and learn how to help their families plan for the future. Space is limited, so advance notice is requested.

To reserve a seat, call (937) 393-2124 so that adequate preparations can be made for food and information packets.
