Flood advisory posted for southern Ohio

The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for much of southern Ohio, including Highland and surrounding counties, until 7 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 22.
There is a 100 percent chance of rain Saturday. The rain could be heavy at times. Many streams will be flooded, especially in low-lying areas.
Expect a high near 62. Saturday night, the rain will continue with a thunderstorm possible between 8 p.m. and 3 a.m., then more rain after 3 a.m.
Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall.
The low will be around 57. New rainfall amounts between 1 and 3 inches possible.

Sunday Showers before 1pm, then a slight chance of showers after 5pm. The rain could be heavy at times. High near 61. Breezy, with a southwest wind 16 to 21 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
