Evidence does not support Redfern's allegations

The Ohio inspector general has released a report of investigation today concluding the evidence did not substantiate an allegation of possible wrongdoing at the Ohio Turnpike Commission.

The investigation was launched after receiving a complaint from Ohio Democratic Party Chairman Chris Redfern.

Redfern alleged actions leading up to the hiring of the Ohio Turnpike Commission’s director of government affairs and director of operations gave the impression commission members, employees, and the candidates for employment at the agency may have engaged in wrongful conduct.

Ohio Inspector General Report of Investigation file number 2012 CA-00020 is now available at: http://watchdog.ohio.gov/Investigations/2012Investigations.aspx
